Payment Terms for EVA CODE — Russian Market
1. General provisions
1.1. Payment methods, product prices, delivery and refunds are governed by these Terms, the Public Offer and Terms of Sale and the Returns Policy. Where they conflict, mandatory rights granted to the buyer by law prevail.
1.2. Payment covers the products and delivery services selected and confirmed by the buyer. Placing an order does not, in itself, constitute consent to marketing or optional processing of personal data; such consents are given separately on the Consents page.
1.3. These payment terms concern EVA CODE as the seller, not foreign banks or payment systems acting as independent organizations. Their own terms may govern the technical execution of payments, but cannot waive mandatory Russian legal obligations imposed on the seller.
2. Available payment methods
2.1. The store offers PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Kaspi, Mir cards (МИР) and bank transfer. The specific method is selected during checkout. Availability depends on the country, the bank, the payment provider and any applicable restrictions. The store does not guarantee that every card or service will work in all countries and currencies.
2.2. For Visa, Mastercard or Mir card payments, the buyer uses the payment form provided and follows the bank's requirements. PayPal and Kaspi payments follow the relevant service's instructions. If a selected method is unavailable, the buyer may choose another available method, without being obliged to use unverified payment details.
2.3. Bank transfers must use the account details supplied by the store within an official order or through a verified communication channel. Before transferring funds, the buyer checks the beneficiary, currency, full amount, payment reference and possible bank charges. Payment details for an individual sent from an unknown address or an unverified message should not be treated as EVA CODE's bank details.
2.4. Where Article 16.1 of Russian Law No. 2300-1 applies, the seller observes its payment rules and does not set different prices for the same product solely because the buyer chooses cash or non-cash payment. Special obligations concerning national payment instruments apply only under the statutory conditions.
3. Prices, currency, charges and import payments
3.1. For a buyer offered products on the Russian market, the price and purchase terms are communicated in Russian rubles (RUB) under Article 10 of the Russian Consumer Protection Law. If the payment is actually charged in another currency, the charge currency, total and applicable conversion method are disclosed before the order is confirmed. The price of a confirmed order is not increased without the buyer's agreement.
3.2. Before payment, the buyer is informed of product prices, discounts, the selected delivery charge and other mandatory amounts payable to the seller and included in the order. Unspecified extra charges are not added after the order is placed without a lawful basis and any required agreement. Whether taxes apply and are included is determined by the actual transaction model and is not assumed automatically.
3.3. A bank, card network or payment service may apply its own exchange rate or fees for international payments or transfers. Where these charges are not collected by EVA CODE, the store cannot specify their exact amount in advance. Buyers should review their bank's tariffs; charges and currency conversion rules known to the seller are disclosed before payment.
3.4. International delivery to Russia may give rise to customs duties, taxes or carrier charges that are not included in the store price unless expressly stated. Before ordering, the buyer is informed which payments are included and who is responsible under the delivery terms for customs procedures and any additional amounts. These charges cannot be used to limit mandatory consumer rights.
4. Order placement and payment confirmation
4.1. The buyer reviews the products, quantity, address, delivery method, final amount and payment currency, then selects an available payment method. Order details and status are displayed in the account, on the website or sent using the contact information supplied by the buyer.
4.2. For payments by card or payment service, a message may report authorization, a debit or final confirmation; these messages have different meanings. If a payment fails, is charged twice or lacks confirmation, the buyer sends the order number and available transaction details to orders@evacode.co.kr. Staff do not request banking passwords, one-time verification codes or CVV/CVC codes.
4.3. Where Article 16.1(3) of Russian Law No. 2300-1 applies, the consumer's obligation under a cashless funds transfer is discharged for the sum indicated in the payment instruction when the consumer's servicing bank confirms execution of the transfer. The seller may require additional time to verify incoming funds internally and prepare the order, but this does not alter the statutory time at which the buyer's payment obligation is discharged.
4.4. If a paid order cannot be fulfilled, EVA CODE informs the buyer and offers a lawful resolution: delivery on mutually agreed terms or a refund. A pricing mistake does not allow the seller to charge an additional amount unilaterally or impose a new price under an already concluded contract.
5. Special rules for bank transfers
5.1. Transfer account details and instructions for referencing the order number are provided individually or through the store's secure interface. Before payment, the beneficiary, account, bank, currency and amount must be clear, along with any intermediary charges known to the seller.
5.2. International transfers may be reviewed, delayed or returned by banks because of payment-system rules, currency restrictions or correspondent-bank requirements. If a transfer fails, the parties compare the bank confirmation and determine the funds' status. EVA CODE does not treat a documented refund or delay as a justification for arbitrary retention of paid amounts.
5.3. If the buyer's bank confirms payment but it is not visible in EVA CODE's records, the store checks the transfer using the order reference and bank confirmation and reports the result. The buyer need not pay the disputed sum a second time before it has been investigated. Bank-transfer refunds are made by an agreed lawful method and documented to the buyer.
6. Payment records and security
6.1. The buyer is given accessible confirmation of the order and payment showing the material transaction details. Payment records and other supporting documents are provided in accordance with the laws applicable to the particular payment and seller.
6.2. EVA CODE processes the transaction data required for payment verification: amount, method, status, payment ID and refund details. Handling of personal data is governed by the Personal Data Processing Policy. Customer support does not request full card numbers, banking passwords, one-time verification codes or CVV/CVC. If payment data is passed to a payment provider, its processing must have a lawful basis.
6.3. To prevent fraud, the seller may lawfully review specific suspicious transactions without requesting bank passwords or one-time codes. Such checks do not override statutory refund deadlines or the buyer's right to dispute an unauthorized payment.
7. Cancellation and refunds
7.1. Grounds and procedures for cancellation, withdrawal from a distance purchase and return of conforming or defective goods are set out in the Returns Policy, Articles 18–24 and 26.1 of Russian Law No. 2300-1. For the monetary claims covered by these rules, the statutory deadline is generally no more than 10 days from submission of the claim. International return shipping does not in itself extend that deadline.
7.2. Where possible, refunds are made to the original payment method (PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Kaspi or Mir) or by another lawful, agreed method for bank transfers or where the original method is unavailable. The buyer is informed of the refund amount and available transaction details; bank or payment-provider processing may affect when the credit appears in the account.
7.3. The refundable amount is determined under the law and contract. Permissible charges for returning conforming goods are assessed under Article 26.1; costs relating to returns of defective goods are assessed under Articles 18–24 and applicable sale rules. Arbitrary penalties, hidden fees and automatic deduction of every international transaction charge from a legally required refund are not allowed.
7.4. If currency conversion causes the amount credited on refund to differ from the original debit, EVA CODE examines the reason, currencies and payment provider's records. Exchange-rate fluctuations or a bank's actions do not relieve the seller of its legal obligation to refund the amount due; the lawfulness of particular exchange differences and charges depends on the circumstances.
8. Payment problems and disputes
8.1. For failed payments, erroneous or duplicate charges, suspected fraud or disputed amounts, the buyer contacts EVA CODE support and, if necessary, their bank or payment service. The buyer should provide the order number, date and amount, without disclosing full card details or secret verification codes.
8.2. Use of a foreign payment intermediary, currency or bank account outside Russia does not exclude mandatory Russian consumer rights where Russian law applies. Payment to a third-party account designated by the seller does not release the seller from its refund obligations where legally required (paragraph 27 of the Rules approved by Russian Government Resolution No. 657 of 30 May 2026).
8.3. In a dispute, the parties may rely on correspondence, order confirmation, bank statements and payment-provider records. These terms do not restrict the right to apply to competent authorities or courts.
