Order Cancellations, Exchanges, Returns and Refunds — EVA CODE
1. Seller and applicable rules
1.1. The Seller is EVA CODE (representative: KIM VALENTINA, Korean business registration number 209-28-95980). Website: https://evacode.co.kr/. Contact: orders@evacode.co.kr, +82 10-7652-8595. Business and return address: 경기도 안산시 단원구 별망로 555, 4층 420호, Republic of Korea.
1.2. For distance purchases subject to Russian law, the applicable rules include Russian Federation Law No. 2300-1 of 7 February 1992, On Protection of Consumer Rights (in particular Articles 18–24 and 26.1), the current Retail Sale Rules approved by Government Resolution No. 657 of 30 May 2026, and other mandatory rules of Russian law. The Seller's location in Korea does not eliminate mandatory Russian consumer protections where the law makes them applicable.
1.3. These terms govern order cancellations, withdrawal from purchases of conforming goods, claims relating to defects, exchanges, international return shipping and refunds. They operate together with the Terms of Sale and Payment Terms. No provision restricts mandatory consumer rights.
2. Order cancellation and changes
2.1. A buyer may withdraw from a distance purchase at any time before the goods are handed over. Before dispatch, a cancellation or modification request may be made through the available account function or sent to orders@evacode.co.kr, quoting the order number.
2.2. If the order has been transferred to a carrier but not yet delivered to the buyer, logistical changes to its contents may no longer be feasible. This does not remove the right to withdraw before delivery. Any interception or return of the shipment is arranged in accordance with mandatory legal requirements.
2.3. If a paid order is lawfully cancelled or the goods are not delivered, the funds are refunded within the applicable statutory period. Deductions are permitted only where and to the extent allowed by law; exercising the statutory withdrawal right does not trigger an automatic penalty.
3. Returns of goods of satisfactory quality
3.1. For distance purchases, a buyer may withdraw within seven calendar days after delivery without giving a reason. If legally required written information on the procedure and deadline for returning satisfactory goods was not provided upon delivery, the withdrawal period is three months from delivery (Article 26.1(4) of Law No. 2300-1).
3.2. Goods of satisfactory quality may be returned if their saleable appearance and consumer properties have been preserved. Proof of purchase is useful, but lacking a paper receipt does not prevent the buyer from using other admissible evidence, such as an order number, electronic receipt or bank statement.
3.3. Cosmetics and perfumes are not automatically excluded from withdrawal rights in distance sales simply because they appear in a list of items not eligible for exchange under Article 25 of Law No. 2300-1. The condition of the specific goods, their consumer properties and legally established restrictions are assessed individually.
3.4. Opening the shipping carton or inspecting the packaging does not, by itself, automatically bar a return. Where goods have been used, partly consumed, damaged or have lost their saleable appearance or consumer properties, the decision is based on the actual facts and the law; a blanket prohibition on returning all opened cosmetics is not applied.
3.5. A statutory exception applies to satisfactory goods with individually determined characteristics that can be used solely by the particular purchasing consumer. Ordinary mass-produced cosmetics do not acquire that status merely because they were ordered online.
4. Defects, transit damage and nonconforming goods
4.1. Where goods have a manufacturing defect, were damaged in transit, are incorrect, do not match their description or otherwise breach the contract, the buyer may invoke remedies under Articles 18–24 of Law No. 2300-1, including replacement, a proportionate price reduction, remedies for defects where provided by law, or termination with a refund.
4.2. Claims concerning defects may be made within the periods prescribed by law, depending on shelf life, warranty and the circumstances. No universal 30-day limit from delivery is imposed in place of those statutory periods.
4.3. To speed up assessment, buyers may provide the order number, a description and discovery date of the defect, and photographs of the goods, packaging or shipping damage. Missing photos or an original paper receipt are not, on their own, grounds to reject a lawful claim; the purchase and the defect are assessed using admissible evidence.
4.4. Where the cause of a defect is disputed, the Seller arranges a quality inspection and, where required by law, an expert examination at the Seller's expense. The buyer may participate in the legally provided inspection and challenge the expert's conclusions. If it is lawfully established that the cause of the defect is not attributable to the Seller, examination-related costs are allocated as the law requires. An examination does not arbitrarily extend statutory deadlines for handling the claim.
4.5. Upon lawful termination for defective goods, their return at the Seller's request is carried out at the Seller's expense. Necessary, reasonable and documented international return-shipping costs are reimbursed, or the Seller arranges shipping. Agreeing on the shipping method in advance is recommended to avoid unnecessary costs; this does not cancel the buyer's statutory rights.
5. How to submit a request and prove purchase
5.1. Send your request to orders@evacode.co.kr, or use an available account function. Include the order number, reply contact, product name and quantity, requested remedy (cancellation, exchange or refund) and relevant circumstances. Telephone: +82 10-7652-8595.
5.2. You may attach an electronic receipt, bank transfer confirmation, account statement, shipping receipt, photographs and other evidence. A mandatory proprietary application form, original paper receipt or original seller's stamp are not universal prerequisites for exercising statutory rights.
5.3. For returns by post or carrier, the address is 경기도 안산시 단원구 별망로 555, 4층 420호, Republic of Korea. Before shipping, we recommend requesting clear instructions from EVA CODE concerning international transport and customs documentation to avoid delays.
5.4. Retain the carrier receipt and tracking number, and package the goods to provide reasonable protection. Support may assist with an accurate customs description (such as “returned goods”), which must reflect the actual contents and comply with the carrier's and customs authorities' requirements. Do not misstate the value or purpose of the shipment.
5.5. EVA CODE handles requests and inspects returned goods in good faith. Where the law permits the method of return chosen, lack of advance approval to ship is not, in itself, a ground for denying the right of return.
6. International returns: methods, costs and risks
6.1. Because EVA CODE is based in Korea, sending goods back from Russia may involve an international carrier, a customs declaration and additional transit time. Shipping time does not replace or automatically extend the statutory deadline for a refund.
6.2. When withdrawing from a purchase of satisfactory goods, the buyer generally pays for return carriage and bears transit risks to the extent laid down by applicable law, including the Russian Constitutional Court's Resolution No. 7-P of 17 February 2026. The Seller may account only for costs of delivering the returned goods from the buyer permitted by Article 26.1, not arbitrary penalties or fees.
6.3. If shipping specifically to Korea is excessively costly relative to the product or manifestly impedes the withdrawal right, the buyer may request another reasonable method. EVA CODE will review the request and agree on a lawful, available option, such as another receiving point if one is available, arranged transportation or another mutually workable solution. No warehouse or permanent return address in Russia is represented as existing. The Seller may not make the right of return practically impossible by requiring a personal visit to Korea or clearly disproportionate shipping.
6.4. In cases involving defects, incorrect order contents or another matter for which the Seller is responsible, the Seller bears necessary and substantiated return-carriage expenses wherever the law so requires. If customs formalities are needed, the parties exchange the necessary documents and agree on lawful arrangements; foreign registration of the Seller does not cancel the Russian consumer's rights.
6.5. Customs duties, carrier fees and clearance costs, if any, are assessed using actual supporting documents and applicable law. They are not automatically deducted from refunds or charged to buyers in cases where the Seller must bear them by law.
7. Refund deadlines and payment methods
7.1. Following lawful withdrawal from satisfactory goods under Article 26.1, the Seller refunds the amount due within 10 days of the buyer making the request. The period does not restart upon receipt of an international parcel or inspection of the goods.
7.2. A refund request for defective goods and related monetary claims governed by Article 22 of Law No. 2300-1 are fulfilled within 10 days of the request. Statutory time limits for replacement and other remedies are separate.
7.3. Refunds are generally made by the original payment method — PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Kaspi, Mir or bank transfer — or another lawful method agreed with the buyer. The time a bank or payment provider takes to credit the buyer's account may differ from the period within which the Seller must perform its refund obligations.
7.4. For a lawful withdrawal from satisfactory goods, only costs allowed under Article 26.1(4) may be excluded from the amount returned. For proven defects, statutory sums are repaid, including substantiated expenses relating to returning the goods. Currency-conversion differences, banking fees and taxes are governed by the actual payment arrangements and mandatory law; no unilateral penalty deductions apply.
8. Disputes, examination and consumer rights
8.1. If the parties disagree about the condition of the goods or cause of damage, EVA CODE reviews available evidence, correspondence and carrier information, meets any statutory inspection obligations and provides a substantive reply.
8.2. A delivery signature or failure to report a defect on the delivery date does not automatically extinguish later statutory defect claims. Buyers may exercise remedies provided by Russian law, including complaints to competent authorities and court proceedings.
9. Contacts and related documents
9.1. For cancellations, returns, cross-border shipping and refunds, contact orders@evacode.co.kr or +82 10-7652-8595. Seller: EVA CODE, representative KIM VALENTINA, business registration number 209-28-95980.
9.2. Business and returns address: 경기도 안산시 단원구 별망로 555, 4층 420호, Republic of Korea. See also Payment, Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy, and Business Details.
9.3. If translations, website terms or other documents conflict with mandatory Russian consumer protections, the mandatory rules prevail over any restrictive provision. The applicable legal version for customers in other countries is determined separately; the website language alone does not establish the governing law.
